The Lebanon enterprise development project LED or LEAD was a five-year activity development that began in October 2017, funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), and implemented by Chemonix International in partnership with two local organizations Berytech and the Business Incubation Association of Tripoli (BIAT).
LED has offered customized support to local businesses from more than 30 sectors to help them identify and solve the problems that were limiting their growth, productivity, and profitability. More than 760 big and small enterprises across Lebanon benefited from this tailor-made project to sustain their operations and in some cases expand even during the several crises confronting Lebanon. These businesses created jobs for more than 4,000 people, one-third of whom are women, and increased domestic and export sales significantly.
This project helped enterprises access high-quality business consulting and advisory services delivered by Lebanese Professionals. One of these consulting is TRANSFORMEUS, which assisted in a range of technical areas including:
- Export readiness and market access.
- Franchising.
- Quality management systems.
- Organizational restructuring process.
- Product improvements so that it confirms international standards.
- Sales and marketing.
- Digital transformation.
- Crisis Management.
- Remanufacturing to reduce cost and increase productivity.
- Web design.
- Jobs creation.
